Meet the teachers....
Over 10 years ago God placed us in the same building to grow, mentor & teach middle school children. Little did we know that we were placed there with a greater purpose. A familial bond quickly formed and we learned we shared so many interests....teaching, family, farming, and dogs. Our friendship has enriched our lives in many ways. We encourage each other to keep going when times get tough and celebrate our successes. We teach each other about ourselves and our passions and challenge each other to grow our passions.
Our path to breeding dogs....
Looking back, the path that led us to breeding dogs began with a British Labrador Retriever - Ginger and a Standard Poodle - Mikey. Through them we both experienced "man's best friend" and what would soon become a passion of ours. I loved, and still do, Ginger but I didn't love the shedding that came with the breed. That's when Mikey entered the picture. I was in search of a companion that would create the connection I felt with Ginger, as well as the intelligence of the poodle. When Ginger and Mikey were unsuccessful in delivering a litter of pups, the unfortunate circumstances led us to search for a doodle to add to our family. That's when I found Winnie. Winnie is the whole reason Magnolia State Poodles and Doodles exists.
Meet Winnie
Winnie, Win, Winnie Doodle, Poodle Doodle, she's a dog of many names. She was our first doodle and to say our breeder experience was lacking is an extreme exaggeration. I vowed then and there that one day we would breed and provide a superior experience for not only the client but also the dog. We want to build the kind of experience that builds relationships. Your relationship with your doodle and our relationship with you. Our experience with Winnie was the beginning of Magnolia State Poodles and Doodles.
An unfortunate, negative experience for us became the benchmark for what Magnolia Poodles and Doodles would become. Quality, healthy and socialized puppies that come from quality, healthy parents. As teachers we are lifelong learners that strive to build a knowledgeable and proficient breeding program. Puppies raised in a clean, nurturing, loving environment.
Our goal is not to simply sell puppies...our goal is to ensure every dog that comes from our program is set up to live a happy and healthy life and is prepared for its future role, treasured family member.
